• Teeth cleaning – Next, one of our friendly dental hygienists in Fairfax will use special tools to scrape plaque and tartar buildup from your teeth. Then, they will polish your teeth and floss to remove any remaining particles.
• Oral exam – After your cleaning, you’ll get to meet Dr. Doshi. Then, Dr. Doshi will take a look at your x-rays and perform a quick oral exam to check on the health of your teeth and gums.
• Discussion & treatment planning – After your x-rays, cleaning, and exam, Dr. Doshi will discuss her findings with you. If you’ve got a clean bill of health, you’ll be sent home after scheduling your next six-month checkup. But if she notices something that needs further attention, Dr. Doshi will discuss it with you, and help you choose the right treatment to get your oral health back on track.
